My name is Niclas Andersen, and I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Communications on the radio, film, and television track with a certificate in Digital Studies. My academic career has honed my understanding of communication processes and improved my communication and digital literacy skills. I have worked closely with Adobe Premier, Canva, and other graphic design tools in recent years. As I pursue career opportunities related to my curriculum and work experience, I aspire to establish myself in a collaborative and fast-paced environment where I can foster my personal and career growth in positions related to Sales or Marketing.

As a Campus Sales Manager at Greek House, I oversee and drive sales within the UW territory. My responsibilities include:

  • Conducting sales meetings to communicate product features and enhance pivotal customer relationships.

  • Adeptly managing customer relationship management tools to devise and execute strategic sales approaches.

  • Manage a comprehensive database of prospects, ensuring prospect information is meticulously kept accurate and precise.

I spearheaded the summer internship program, successfully guiding over 35 sales leads across various sectors, including fraternities and consulting firms, and contributing $10,000 in revenue. 

My experience at Greek House has taught me how to effectively conduct prospect outreach, facilitate sales meetings, and efficiently manage client relations.

WESTCHESTER SALES REPRESENTATIVE

SWIMMING POOL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a Westchester Sales Representative for Ette Spirits, I actively engaged with ~20 spirit retailers weekly via emails and in-person store visits, showcasing exceptional dedication and drive. My responsibilities included:

  • Delivering compelling sales pitches, effectively highlighting product features to potential clients.

  • Establish and nurture lasting relationships with spirit retailers across my territory

My strategic efforts led to the expansion into three new territories, directly contributing to an increase in revenue of $1,250. My experience at Ette Spirits taught me much about approaching cold leads, thriving in a challenging and dynamic environment, and overcoming rejection

As a Swimming Pool Service Technician for EcPool Inc., I conducted pool maintenance, managing over 60 pools while adhering to rigorous deadlines. My responsibilities included:

  • Vacuuming pools and spas.

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

  • Conducting chemical tests to maintain optimal water conditions.

My dedication to maintaining high standards of pool care and my ability to meet deadlines efficiently illustrate my vital contribution to ensuring safe and enjoyable aquatic environments. My experience at EcoPool Inc. taught me much about time management and customer service.
